I liked…nay I loved Avatar. I’ve seen it on consecutive days, and if it wasn’t for this stupid Philippine law where only Pinoy films can be shown from December 25th to January 1, I’d be seeing it a third time.
Why do I like it so much? Isn’t its plot derivative? Hell yes. Wasn’t the dialogue clunky? Yup. Wasn’t Sam Worthington better as an Avatar...

Philippine history is taught in broad uninteresting strokes. It is broken down into the simplest of terms: class warfare. The struggle of the poor vs. the rich, the brown against the white.
